Cards in this HoloFame insert set, featuring 10 players were randomly pulled at a rate of one in every 24 packs and feature ten NFL players with the potential to be named to the NBA Hall of Fame. These die-cut cards feature a combination of lithograph and holoview technology. This set doesn't get a lot of love value wise, but I believe that may change in the future. A complete raw set can be pieced together off of eBay for around a total of $50-60, and if you wanted to take it a bit further and grab the base set to go with it, you probably wont be spending more than $100 in total. The PSA 10 examples of these cards are a bit harder to come by, but they are still fair in pricing, at the time of posting this a single Barry Sanders HoloFame PSA 10 is available on eBay, for only $185 with best offer option. The cards in the HoloFame set look fantastic, and shows Upper Deck really show casing their technology for the time. If you like to collect legends, and are on a budget, we highly recommend putting this together.
