The 2023 Panini Select Football, a chromium-styled product that has become a staple in Panini’s lineup of sports card releases, is gearing up for a summer release. This year's edition will debut just before the 2024 NFL training camps, featuring a robust 500-card base set segmented into five distinct levels ranging from Concourse to Field.

The base set starts with the Concourse Level, encompassing cards #1 – 100, which are the most common. Conversely, the Field Level, which includes cards #401 – 500, represents the rarest finds in the set. As usual, the set will include a range of sought-after parallels, such as the Zebra and Disco parallels, along with the numerically limited Tie-Dye parallels.

A notable feature returning in this year's release is the XRC Mystery Redemption program. This fan-favorite gives collectors the chance to secure some of the first licensed rookie cards from the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft class. The highly anticipated XRC cards will feature Silver Prizm, low-numbered variants, and autographs, adding significant appeal for collectors.

Base Set:

  • Concourse: Cards #1-100
  • Premier Level: Cards #101-200
  • Club Level: Cards #201-300
  • Suite Level: Cards #301-400
  • Field Level: Cards #401-500
Autographs and Memorabilia: The 2023 release will also include Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches and Prime Selections Prizm Signatures Tie-Dye autograph memorabilia cards. Additionally, autographs from legendary players will be showcased in the Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures Prizm series.

Inserts: This year’s collection will reintroduce inserts such as Starcade, Color Wheel, and Select Anniversary, aligning with the aesthetic of this year’s NBA Select release.

Hobby Box Configuration:

  • 5 Cards Per Pack
  • 12 Packs Per Box
  • 12 Boxes Per Case
Expected Box Contents:

  • 2 Autographs
  • 1 Memorabilia Card
  • 15 Prizm Parallels
  • 6 Inserts
  • 2 Field Level Base Cards
Each hobby box is suggested to retail at $450, providing collectors with a comprehensive package of high-value cards.

As the release date approaches this summer, collectors and NFL fans alike are eagerly anticipating the latest Panini Select Football, ready to capture some of the most iconic moments and athletes of the upcoming NFL season.
