2024-25 Panini Mosaic Basketball: Box Breakdowns, Parallels, and Autographs Galore

Panini Mosaic Basketball returns for the 2024-25 season with a revamped hobby format that packs more punch into fewer cards. Sure, there may be fewer total cards per box, but collectors won't complain when each box delivers double the autographs.

Here's how the box formats break down this season:

• Hobby Boxes: Three packs per box (15 cards each), loaded with two autographs, 18 Mosaic Prizms, and six inserts or insert parallels.
• First Off The Line (FOTL): Three packs per box (15 cards each), featuring one exclusive FOTL autograph parallel, plus one additional autograph, three exclusive Mosaic Prizm parallels, 18 regular Mosaic Prizms, and six inserts or insert parallels.
• Choice Boxes: One single pack of 12 cards, guaranteeing one autograph, five exclusive Mosaic Prizm parallels, and three Choice-exclusive rookie variations.
• Fast Break Boxes: 12 packs per box (12 cards per pack), each box containing one autograph, 11 Mosaic Prizms, five inserts, and one Fast Break rookie variation.

Checklist Overview​

Although Panini hasn’t revealed the complete checklist yet, they have confirmed popular subsets like NBA Debut, City Edition, and NBA Greats are returning alongside veterans and rookies to fill out the 300-card base set.

Hobby-Exclusive Mosaic Parallels​

Panini continues to build out the Mosaic rainbow, introducing several hobby-only parallels this year:

The Purple and Gold Snakeskin parallels pay tribute to Kobe Bryant, appearing in regular hobby boxes for the first time since special Kobe commemorative packs debuted in 2020.

Autographs in Mosaic Basketball will include popular ticket-style Rookie Season Tickets (with variations) and Veteran Tickets. Rookie Jersey Autographs also return, highlighted by a chase-worthy NBA Logoman 1/1 parallel. Exclusive autograph parallels can be found throughout the FOTL, Choice, and Fast Break boxes.
