2025-26 SPx Hockey Checklist, Team Set Lists and Details

Upper Deck is bringing SPx Hockey back for 2025-26 with a familiar mix of shiny, holographic design and modern low-numbered chases. Built around the look and feel collectors remember from the original 1990s SPx releases, the product pairs a 165-card base set with rookie holograms, autographs, memorabilia-style content, and a long list of inserts and parallels.

Hobby boxes are configured with eight packs and three cards per pack, and the checklist is built so that several key hits can show up in every box. The release is scheduled for May 6, 2026, subject to change.

2025-26 SPx Hockey Product Overview

SPx has always leaned into premium presentation, and this year’s edition continues that approach with a checklist that mixes veterans, rookies, and tougher hologram rookie cards. The base set runs 165 cards and is split into veterans, rookies, and hologram rookies.

According to the box breakdown, collectors should find four base rookies per box, along with a mix of inserts and parallels. The product also includes numbered hits, which adds to the chase in a format that already emphasizes scarcity.

Hobby Box Configuration

Each hobby box contains eight packs with three cards per pack. The stated box contents are:
