2025 Bowman Baseball hit shelves just yesterday, and it didn’t take long for collectors to start ripping, flipping, and setting the tone for this year’s prospect card market. Several key names are already commanding serious attention on the secondary market, with a few surprise performers sneaking into the spotlight alongside the expected chases.

Let’s take a look at who’s making noise out of the gate.

Slade Caldwell Black Auto /10 – $1,250

The early leader on the high-end sales board? Slade Caldwell, an Arizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect. His Black Chrome Auto /10 already changed hands for a cool $1,250. Caldwell has been on radars as a potential breakout, and this sale might be a sign of things to come if his on-field performance matches the early cardboard heat.

Jhostynxon Garcia Gold Auto /50 – $755

One of the more surprising early sales came from Jhostynxon Garcia, ranked sixth in the Red Sox system. His Gold Refractor Auto /50 sold for $755, a solid number for a prospect who isn’t quite top-tier—yet. The 22-year-old has 25 hits in his first 25 games at Double-A Portland and is gaining hobby attention alongside fellow Boston prospects Roman Anthony and Kristian Campbell. A base Blue Auto /150 also moved for $229, showing depth in collector demand.

Jesus Made: The Potential Top Chase?

While we haven’t seen a sale yet of a true 1/1 or Superfractor, Jesus Made looks poised to take over as the most desirable name in the set. The 17-year-old Brewers prospect had his Red Lava /5 Chrome Auto move for $2,000, and even a Paper Purple /250 Auto sold for $500. These numbers put him in the same ballpark as other top chases like Charlie Condon and Kevin McGonigle, with plenty of room to grow.

Charlie Condon Autos – $200 to $495

Georgia standout Charlie Condon has seen several early sales of his 1st Bowman Chrome Auto, including two sales at $225 and $200. A Blue Refractor /150 Auto climbed higher, selling for $495, signaling strong demand across color parallels.

Kevin McGonigle Autos – Steady Out the Gate

Kevin McGonigle, a shortstop in the Tigers’ pipeline, is also making a solid first impression. So far, Card Ladder has logged six sales of his base autos ranging from $115 to $257. While we haven’t seen a numbered auto hit the market yet, those numbers suggest he’s firmly on collectors’ watch lists.

Early Verdict: Market Momentum Is Strong

With multiple players drawing significant attention and pricing within 24 hours of release, 2025 Bowman Baseball is already off to a hot start. Whether you’re chasing the next big rookie or prospecting the long game, the early signs suggest this set is packed with potential—and the secondary market knows it.
