Topps is bringing back one of its most popular premium spins with 2025 Chrome Sapphire Baseball. The product takes the entire 300-card Topps Chrome checklist and gives it the glossy sapphire finish that has become a collector favorite.

Each box delivers one on-card autograph and three parallels that are exclusive to Sapphire. The specific parallel designs haven’t been revealed yet, but they’re always among the most eye-catching in the Chrome family.

The chase doesn’t stop at the base set. All 50 Image Variations from the Chrome release also make their way into Sapphire, giving collectors more to look for.

Autographs fall into two main groups. The 38-card Rookie Autographs checklist brings plenty of fresh faces, including Dylan Crews, James Wood, Roki Sasaki, and Nick Kurtz. Sapphire Selections Autographs provide the star power, with Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, and Bobby Witt Jr. among a small lineup of signers. Sapphire Selections also appears as a 20-card insert set that is only available in this release.

A quick look at the basics:

Cards per pack: 4
Packs per box: 8
Boxes per case: 10
Total set size: 300 cards
Planned release: August 27, 2025

A typical hobby box contains one autograph and three parallels, along with base cards and the potential for image variations. With its mix of established stars, rising rookies, and exclusive content, this year’s Sapphire is built to keep demand strong once again.
