This March, Robert Edward Auctions (REA) is set to thrill the collecting community with its latest Encore Auction, presenting an unparalleled selection of sports memorabilia and cards. The auction features an astounding array of over 3,400 items, showcasing a journey through sports history from the late 19th century to the modern era.

Central to the auction is a stellar lineup of T206 cards, including a revered 1911 Sporting Life Honus Wagner Cabinet card, part of a vast collection that totals seven hundred pieces. The modern sports card scene is represented by a 2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady Rookie card, graded BGS GEM MINT 9.5, highlighting the diverse time span of the auction's offerings.

Notably featured is the M110 Wagner card alongside a 1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Wagner card with a pastel background, receiving an SGC 6 grading. Babe Ruth's storied career is celebrated with several pieces, including a partial box of 1921 Schapira Bros. Candy and three scarce strip cards - a testament to Ruth's enduring legacy.

The auction also caters to enthusiasts of vintage unopened sports memorabilia, offering a multitude of lots from the 1970s and 80s across various sports. Highlights include high-grade cards of baseball legends like a 1976 Topps #500 Reggie Jackson PSA 10 and a 1980-1981 Topps Basketball Larry Bird/Magic Johnson Rookie PSA 9, as well as cherished rookie cards of Mickey Mantle and Hank Aaron.

Unique to this auction are T206 cards featuring a Ty Cobb Bat Off Shoulder PSA EX 5 with a Tolstoi Back and a seldom-seen Cy Young Bare Hand Shows variant. REA's President, Brian Dwyer, points out the auction's distinctive allure, blending iconic sports figures with rare collectible items that offer a unique opportunity for collectors to enrich their assortments with pieces rarely seen on the auction block.

With every item starting at a bid of $10, REA invites collectors to join in this remarkable auction event, which runs until Sunday, March 24. All initial bids are due by 9 PM ET, making it an eagerly anticipated event for collectors aiming to secure their piece of sports history.
