Upper Deck is releasing a special boxed set to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Boston Bruins, one of the most storied franchises in sports. Set to hit the shelves on Wednesday, Dec. 6, the Upper Deck Boston Bruins Centennial Box Set is a collector's dream, complete with base cards, chase elements, and autographs.

The box set includes a comprehensive base set of 100 cards, showcasing a mix of the Bruins' legendary players and current stars. Adding to the excitement are five different types of inserts, parallels, and the chance of finding randomly packed autographs.

Collectors will find each base card available in two parallel versions: yellow and gold spectrum. A standard box will typically contain three yellow parallels, one gold spectrum, and one insert card. The insert set, named “Beantown Classics,” comprises 20 cards and pays tribute to 20 of the greatest Bruins players from various eras.

Autograph enthusiasts will be eager to discover that fifty current and former Bruins players have signed cards for this set. However, finding an autograph will be a rare treat, as they are included in only one out of every ten sets. Moreover, some signatures, especially those from legendary players like Bobby Orr, Rogie Vachon, Ray Bourque, Cam Neely, and Paul Coffey, will be particularly elusive.

Priced at around $50 per set, this centennial box set offers Bruins fans and sports card collectors a unique opportunity to own a piece of hockey history.
