In a move that felt more inevitable than surprising, Cooper Flagg has been selected first overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Dallas Mavericks, who made waves by trading Luka Doncic earlier this season, have officially hit the reset button—and they’ve done so with one of the most hyped prospects in years.

To mark the occasion, Topps NOW is celebrating with the release of Flagg’s first professional basketball card. It’s a major moment for both hoops fans and collectors.

Draft Drama, Hobby Headlines

The Mavericks' front office needed a miracle after the blockbuster Doncic deal, and they got one—landing the top pick and selecting Flagg, a player widely viewed as a franchise-changer. His draft night wasn’t just a win for Dallas—it was a win for collectors, too.

Topps NOW jumped at the opportunity, launching a print-to-order card featuring Flagg in his new Mavericks gear. These on-demand releases are tied to key sports milestones and often become collector favorites thanks to their limited availability.

What’s in the Release?

At the top of the checklist is a 1/1 autographed card with a "1st Overall Pick" inscription. Autographs are available via redemption and come in tiers numbered to /25, /10, /5, and 1-of-1. Two of the /10 autos are inscribed with “My First Pro Auto,” adding a special touch for long-term investors.

Collectors can also chase foil parallels of the base card, available in numbered variations: /99, /75, /50, /25, /10, /5, and a 1/1 FoilFractor.

Flagg’s Hobby Heat

Even before the draft, Flagg was generating buzz in the card world. His Bowman cards and Topps Basketball McDonald's All American issues have already become hot commodities. And earlier this year, Flagg signed an exclusive deal with Topps and Fanatics—cementing his status as a key player in the next generation of sports cards.

With this Topps NOW release, Flagg officially enters the professional collecting arena. Whether you’re grabbing one for your PC or speculating on long-term upside, this is the card that kicks off his NBA cardboard journey.

Available for a limited time through June 29 at 8:10 PM EST, Flagg’s first pro card could become one of the defining collectibles of the 2025 draft class. Get it while you can—because the hype train is already moving fast.
