The Formula 1 season kicked off at the Australian Grand Prix on March 16 at the Melbourne Grand Prix circuit, setting the stage for a year of dramatic racing and big moves. One of the most talked-about storylines this season is the debut of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton with Ferrari—the sport’s most iconic team. Hamilton’s transition to Ferrari is already fueling excitement among fans and collectors alike, as his move is expected to further elevate an already robust memorabilia market.

Collectors have been eagerly awaiting Hamilton’s first trading card as a Ferrari driver, and the wait is over. Topps has announced that his inaugural Ferrari card will be part of the Topps Now F1 series. The release includes standard base cards as well as a series of limited-edition foil refractors, with versions numbered 50, 25, 10, 5, and one unique foilfractor 1/1. Although the set does not feature autograph parallels, the range of special editions is expected to attract significant interest.

Recent images from a Ferrari press event show Hamilton in his new livery, underscoring the excitement of his fresh start with the team—even if his debut race in Melbourne saw him finish in 10th place. The move to Ferrari, combined with Hamilton’s celebrated career, promises to boost both his performance on the track and his collectible appeal off it.

The launch of this trading card represents more than just a new collectible; it marks the beginning of a new chapter for Hamilton as he merges his storied legacy with Ferrari’s rich history. As the season unfolds and Hamilton and Ferrari look to climb the standings, collectors are poised to watch the value of these cards rise along with their on-track success.
