At the close of Lelands' 2024 Winter Classic Auction, a 1960 Roberto Clemente game-worn jersey emerged as a top lot, selling for $256,714. This gray, vest-style jersey from a championship year for Clemente was highly praised and received an 'excellent' grade from SGC.

Another highlight was a 1942 Ted Williams Boston Red Sox jersey, which fetched $191,563. This piece, unique for its personal connection to a Fenway Park fan and its historical significance, stands as the only known Williams jersey from that year. Additionally, a 1940s Williams warm-up jacket sold for $40,920, emphasizing the auction's rich historical offerings.

A baseball signed by legends Babe Ruth and Honus Wagner, preserved as a family heirloom, was another standout, bringing in $102,694. This ball, also featuring signatures from Al Simmons and George Earnshaw, showcases the depth of the auction's collectible items. A Ruth-Gehrig signed photo and a high-grade 1949 Jackie Robinson card also attracted significant interest, selling for $131,066 and $85,772, respectively.

A rare 1997-98 Metal Universe Championship Precious Metal Gems Michael Jordan card became a focal point, igniting a bidding war that concluded at $232,847. This marked a significant moment for the collectible card market, given its rarity and the card's first appearance at auction since 2020.

The auction's variety was further highlighted by offerings of unopened boxes from the 1960s and 1970s, including a 1961 Fleer Baseball Greats box and others, demonstrating the enduring appeal of unopened material. A 1991 Kentucky Derby owner's trophy also saw significant interest, selling for $165,479.

Noteworthy among the game-worn items were a Sidney Crosby rookie season jersey, a Lynn Swann Steelers jersey, a Brian Leetch Rangers Stanley Cup Playoffs jersey, and a Jerry Lucas Ohio State Buckeyes jersey, all drawing attention for their historical significance and connection to sports legends.
