This collaboration marks the third occasion the duo, both from Nova Scotia, has joined forces during Crosby’s storied career in the NHL.

Discussing the collaboration, Robb Scott shared insights into the intensive creative process involved. "There is a lot of back and forth in the creative process with Sid," Scott said. "He is very protective of his image, which is completely understandable. The tone and message must align perfectly with his personality. We considered 5-6 concepts before deciding on the final one. The entire process spanned 4-5 months." This careful deliberation ensures that each artwork authentically reflects Crosby's persona and legacy.

The first collaboration between Crosby and Scott occurred in 2010, making Scott the first Canadian artist to receive authorization from Crosby to produce his likeness. Their subsequent collaboration in 2016 also featured NHL star Nathan MacKinnon, underscoring Scott's strong ties with professional hockey.

The latest project has yielded 100 autographed prints, each individually numbered and signed, solidifying its status as a collectible item. Accompanying each print is a certificate of authenticity from Frameworth, Crosby’s official memorabilia representative, adding an extra layer of exclusivity.
