As the Philadelphia Eagles soar under Jalen Hurts' leadership, the quarterback's rookie cards have become increasingly sought after in the collectibles market. Originally making a splash at the University of Alabama before transferring to Oklahoma, Hurts was a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite being initially overshadowed by other elite quarterbacks in his draft class, Hurts quickly emerged as a formidable starter, leading the Eagles to a stellar 14-1 record in 2022 and a Super Bowl appearance.

Hurts' early cards from the 2020 season are now in high demand, with Panini, the sole licensee for NFL and NCAA cards that year, offering some of his most coveted cards. Among the favorites is the 2020 Donruss Optic Rated Rookie Jalen Hurts RC #164, a popular choice for its chromium finish and array of parallel versions. The 2020 Donruss Optic Downtown Jalen Hurts #DT-34 is another highlight, valued for its rarity and unique design.

The 2020 Panini Absolute Kaboom Jalen Hurts card, available in two versions featuring either a throwing or running image, is a notable rookie insert. The 2020 Panini Mosaic Jalen Hurts RC #22 also stands out, offered in both a base version and multiple parallels, including a collegiate image variation showing Hurts in his Oklahoma gear.

For collectors looking for something even more exclusive, the 2020 Panini Prizm Jalen Hurts RC #343 offers a base Prizm and a less common black-and-white image variation, along with several valuable parallels. The 2020 Panini Select series features Hurts across four levels of its base set, each with its own parallel versions, adding to the allure for collectors.

An earlier card of Hurts is found in the 2019 Panini Select 2020 XRC Rookie Redemption #305, a sought-after redemption card. Additionally, there are numerous autographed options available, like the 2020 Donruss Optic Rated Rookie Signatures #164 and the prestigious Rookie Ticket Autograph from the 2020 Panini Contenders NFL.

As Jalen Hurts continues to make his mark in the NFL, his rookie cards, especially the rarer autographed editions, are becoming key pieces for sports card enthusiasts and Eagles fans alike.
