Jannik Sinner's remarkable ascent to the top of the ATP rankings is commemorated by Panini with an exclusive trading card release, highlighting the Italian tennis star’s achievements including his recent Australian Open victory.

Jannik Sinner, at the young age of 22, has swiftly become a dominant force on the ATP Tour, renowned for his powerful play and nimble movements. The Italian tennis sensation has consistently displayed a calm demeanor paired with a characteristic smile throughout his rise in professional tennis. Beginning his professional journey at 14, Sinner quickly made a name for himself, winning multiple ATP Challenger Tour titles by the age of 17. His significant breakthrough occurred in 2019 when he entered the top 100 following victories at the Next Generation ATP Finals and securing the ATP Newcomer of the Year award.

The year 2023 saw Sinner winning his inaugural Masters 1000 title at the Canadian Open, and he started 2024 on a high note by clinching the Australian Open. This victory not only marked his first Grand Slam win but also made him the first Italian to win the Australian Open singles title and the third Italian man to win a major championship in 48 years.

Following his Australian Open win, Sinner continued to impress with victories at the ATP Rotterdam Open and the Miami Open. At the Rotterdam Open, he achieved his 200th career victory, becoming the first player born in the 2000s to reach this milestone. His success in Miami secured him his second Masters 1000 title. During this period, he also set a new record for Italian players by winning 19 consecutive matches.

His performance at Roland Garros was enough to elevate him to the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings, making him the first Italian to ever reach this pinnacle. In conjunction with this milestone, Panini announced a multi-year deal with Sinner that includes collectible trading cards, autographed memorabilia, game gear, books, and digital collections.

The partnership kicked off with the release of a Panini Instant card commemorating Sinner's rise to world No. 1. This card is available for purchase now and is the first in a series of collections dedicated to Sinner that will feature memorabilia and limited-edition cards available worldwide through Panini’s online store and select retail outlets.

As 2024 progresses, fans can expect more exclusive releases from Panini celebrating Jannik Sinner's continuing legacy in the world of tennis.
