Kevin Durant has officially joined the NBA’s most elite scorers, becoming just the eighth player in league history to reach 30,000 career points. The Phoenix Suns superstar hit the milestone on a free throw at Footprint Center during Tuesday night’s 119-112 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite the defeat, Durant finished with 34 points, three rebounds, and three assists, further solidifying his status as one of the game’s all-time greats.

Now, Topps Now is commemorating Durant’s incredible achievement with a special edition trading card, giving fans and collectors the opportunity to own a piece of history.

Topps Now Releases Exclusive Durant 30,000-Point Card

To honor the moment, Topps Now has unveiled a limited-edition card featuring Durant in an unlicensed Suns-inspired "35" jersey, showcasing the team’s orange, black, and purple color scheme. The card highlights the exact moment Durant reached 30,000 career points, making it a must-have collectible for basketball fans.

The base card is available for $11.99, with rare parallel variations randomly inserted, including:

  • Green /99
  • Blue /75
  • Gold /50
  • Orange /25
  • Black /10
  • Red /5
  • SuperFractor 1/1
Additionally, auto-relic redemptions featuring game-worn shorts from Durant are available in /10, /5, and a 1/1 SuperFractor autographed relic variation, making this release even more desirable.

Durant Joins the NBA’s Most Legendary Scorers

With his 30,000th point, Durant joins an exclusive list of NBA icons, including:

  1. LeBron James – 41,623 (and counting)
  2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – 38,387
  3. Karl Malone – 36,928
  4. Kobe Bryant – 33,643
  5. Michael Jordan – 32,292
  6. Dirk Nowitzki – 31,560
  7. Wilt Chamberlain – 31,419
  8. Kevin Durant – 30,008 (and counting)
Durant hit the milestone in 1,101 games, equaling Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s pace. Only Wilt Chamberlain (941 games) and Michael Jordan (960 games) accomplished the feat faster.

Durant Reflects on the Historic Achievement

Durant reached 30,000 points in the second half against Memphis, sinking a free throw after being fouled by Brandon Clarke. Speaking to NBA.com, he reflected on what it means to be mentioned alongside basketball’s greatest scorers:

"It’s a true honor to be in the same category as those players who helped shape the game and pushed the game forward."
At 36 years old, Durant continues to be one of the NBA’s most dominant players. With plenty of games still ahead, the question remains—how far will he climb up the all-time scoring leaderboard?
