Basketball’s cardboard royalty just cashed in—again.
A rare 1-of-1 2009 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logoman card featuring on-card autographs and Logoman patches from both LeBron James and the late Kobe Bryant sold for a staggering $1,161,440 this week through Goldin Auctions. The final price includes buyer’s premium and came after 11 bids.
Graded PSA 6.5 with a 9 auto, the card’s condition wasn’t perfect—which isn’t all that surprising for a thick, 17-year-old premium card. But let’s be honest: when it’s LeBron and Kobe together on a single Logoman, condition is almost an afterthought.
This wasn’t even the highest sale involving the iconic duo. In 2022, a triple Logoman from Upper Deck Exquisite (featuring LeBron, Kobe, and MJ—yes, that MJ) sold for $1.68 million. That one didn’t even have autographs.
Goldin has also previously sold another James/Bryant dual auto from the 2004–05 Exquisite line, which fetched $840,000 in 2023. That card had a PSA Authentic slab and a 10 auto grade.
So while this latest sale didn’t set a new record, it still speaks volumes. Demand for premium Kobe autos hasn’t slowed, and LeBron’s market remains bulletproof. When you mix the two together on one card—with Logomans, no less—you're bound to see seven figures.
