McFarlane Toys and UFC Forge New Alliance for Collectible Figures

In a recent announcement from Las Vegas and Tempe, Arizona, dated May 15, 2024, McFarlane Toys, a leader in the collectibles industry, has unveiled a new licensing agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world's premier mixed martial arts organization. This collaboration marks a significant venture into both physical and digital realms of collectibles, featuring detailed figures from UFC's renowned roster.

The agreement, orchestrated by UFC's licensing partner, IMG, will bring to life a series of 6-inch, intricately designed figures that capture the essence of UFC's most memorable athletes and their defining moments in the octagon. These figures will be available in both physical forms for traditional collectors and as digital versions for those who prefer virtual collectibles.

Todd McFarlane, the Founder and CEO of McFarlane Toys, expressed his excitement about the partnership. "UFC has significantly grown to become a top-tier brand in the sports industry, attracting hundreds of millions of fans worldwide with its action-packed events," McFarlane said. "Creating authentic, detailed figures that reflect the energy and intensity of UFC fights is an exciting development for us, and I'm eager to see these figures in the hands of fans."

Tracey Bleczinski, Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products at UFC, also commented on the collaboration, emphasizing the deep connection UFC fans have with the sport and their high expectations for authenticity in merchandise. "Partnering with McFarlane Toys, known for their excellence in crafting detailed collectible figures, is a perfect match for us. We are thrilled to bring our athletes to life in a way that our fans will love and appreciate," said Bleczinski.

The new line of UFC collectible figures is slated for release in the fall of 2024, with availability anticipated both online and at selected retailers around the globe. Fans will also be able to redeem digital products through a dedicated platform at mcfarlanetoys.digital, ensuring a seamless integration between physical collectibles and digital assets.

This innovative venture is set to enhance the collectible experience for UFC enthusiasts, offering them a new way to connect with their favorite athletes and relive the excitement of the octagon through high-quality, collectible figures.
