Mahomes Returns to Panini Packs with New Autographed Cards for 2025

Patrick Mahomes is once again teaming up with Panini America—and collectors couldn’t be more thrilled. For the first time in five years, new autographed cards from the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback will appear across Panini’s 2025 NFL trading card releases, the company announced this week.

This renewed partnership marks Mahomes' first Panini autograph cards since 2020, reigniting excitement around one of the most collected athletes in modern sports.

From Draft Day to Dynasty—Mahomes and Panini Reunite

Panini was there from the start. The brand played a role in Mahomes’ 2017 NFL Draft festivities and has featured him heavily in NFL products ever since. Now, with three Super Bowl titles to his name and a legacy that continues to grow, Mahomes is once again lending his signature to the hobby.

“Patrick is a generational talent and one of the most recognizable stars in all of sports,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America’s SVP of Marketing and Athlete Relations. “This deal is about more than just trading cards—it’s about continuing a legacy that fans have followed since his rookie year.”

Expect Autographs in All the Fan Favorites

The new Mahomes-signed cards will be spread throughout Panini’s flagship NFL sets in 2025. That means collectors can expect his signature to appear in products like Prizm, Flawless, National Treasures, Donruss Optic, and more.

To tease the release, Panini debuted a highlight video featuring Mahomes alongside animated versions of several fan-favorite inserts like Color Blast, KaBoom, and Downtown—a visual celebration of the quarterback’s on-field dominance and the hobby’s love for bold design.

Mahomes: “Excited to Be Back”

“Panini has been with me since the very beginning,” Mahomes said in a statement. “I’ve always appreciated how creative and unique their cards are. I’m excited to be part of their 2025 lineup with new autographed cards for fans.”

Given the skyrocketing demand for Mahomes cards, the addition of new autographs to this year’s releases is expected to drive huge interest across the hobby.

A Big Move for the Hobby

In an era where sports card collecting continues to grow worldwide, Mahomes' return to Panini's autograph lineup is a major win—not just for Panini, but for fans, flippers, and long-term collectors alike.

With the 2025 NFL season on the horizon, Mahomes isn’t just returning to the field—he’s returning to packs, too. And for collectors, that’s game-changing news.
