Tim Hortons and Upper Deck are back with another hockey card release, and this time they’re blending history with modern-day highlights. The 2024-25 Upper Deck Tim Hortons Retrospective Rookies set is now available across Canada, offering collectors a fresh 100-card series focused on players' early-career moments.

Despite the title, this release goes beyond current NHL rookies. The theme is all about looking back—featuring a mix of legendary players, current stars, and notable names from the Professional Women’s Hockey League during their rookie seasons. The result is a dynamic collection that bridges generations of talent.

Alongside the base set, collectors will find six insert sets, including Initial Strides, In the Books, Celebrated Prodigies, and Take a Bow—all designed to spotlight standout rookie-year performances.

As always, autographs are the holy grail. The Debut Autographs lineup features 16 signers, but with odds of 1 in 7,200 packs, they’re incredibly tough to land. Even more elusive are the Debut Season Autographs from Sidney Crosby (limited to 75 copies) and Nathan MacKinnon (only 25 in existence).

Packs are priced at $1.50 CAD with a drink purchase or $1.99 without, and they’re only available at Tim Hortons locations in Canada. For fans outside the country, the cards and official album binder are already showing up on secondary marketplaces like eBay.

Whether you’re chasing legends, scouting future stars, or just reliving iconic rookie moments, this year’s Tim Hortons set offers something for every kind of hockey fan.
