Upcoming Sports Card Releases For June

The next couple of weeks promise an exciting lineup of sports card releases across basketball, baseball, hockey, and more. Below is the release schedule and highlights of each set:

  • June 5, 2024:
    • 2023-24 Panini Obsidian Basketball: This set features two autographs, one memorabilia card, and a mix of two inserts or parallels and two base cards per box. Look out for the ultra-rare Black Color Blast inserts and a First Off the Line version with exclusive content.
    • 2023-24 Upper Deck Synergy Hockey: Coinciding with the Stanley Cup Finals, this release is rich in inserts and offers a base set of 125 cards, with autographs possible but not guaranteed.
    • 2024 Bowman Sapphire Baseball: Known for its popularity, the set includes three colored parallels and one guaranteed autograph per box. Despite selling out quickly online, check eBay for available listings.
  • June 7, 2024:
    • 2023-24 Topps G-League Basketball
  • June 12, 2024:
    • 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball: This continuation of Topps' annual flagship includes 350 new base cards featuring MLB newcomers and rookies. Available in Hobby, Blaster, and Display boxes.
    • 2023-24 Topps Chrome Bundesliga
  • June 14, 2024:
    • 2023-24 Donruss Optic Basketball: Each Hobby box contains 20 packs with four cards each, including one autograph and 20 inserts or parallels. New inserts this year include Rising Suns and Red Hot Rookies.
  • June 19, 2024:
    • 2023-24 Panini Contenders Basketball: Each box offers two autographs from four eight-card packs, with Rookie Ticket Autographs being a key feature. New NBA Ink Autographs are numbered from 99 to 1.
    • 2023-24 Upper Deck Extended Series Hockey: This release adds 200 cards to the flagship NHL set, including more Young Guns and 1st Round Rookies. Additional releases include 2023 Immaculate WWE and 2024 Topps Museum UEFA Club.
These releases offer collectors a variety of options to enhance their collections with both modern and vintage players across multiple sports. Whether you're looking for shiny basketball cards or hockey Young Guns, there's something for everyone in the upcoming weeks.
