Upper Deck, the premier name in sports and entertainment collectibles, has announced an exclusive autograph trading card deal with Macklin Celebrini, the number one overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Following his signing with the San Jose Sharks® on July 6, Celebrini’s name, image, likeness, and autograph will feature solely on Upper Deck trading cards, including top brands such as the Upper Deck Flagship Series, SP Authentic, and O-Pee-Chee-Platinum.

Celebrini, at just 18 years old, was the first overall pick by the San Jose Sharks® in the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft™ on June 28. Celebrini’s college career was marked by impressive achievements, including becoming the youngest player to win the Hobey Baker Award in his freshman year, recognizing him as the best college player in the nation. His 2023-24 season saw him honored as the Hockey East Player of the Year, Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Hockey East Scoring Champion, and the recipient of the Hockey East Three-Stars Award for scoring the highest number of points during the regular season.

“Macklin Celebrini is a standout talent, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our roster of hockey sensations,” said Upper Deck President Jason Masherah. “We’re committed to bringing fans even closer to their favorite NHL players, and the addition of Celebrini reflects our dedication to showcasing both seasoned legends and emerging stars. We’re proud to represent him at such an exciting time in his career and look forward to capturing his success on the ice once he makes his NHL debut.”

To mark this exciting partnership, fans can begin their Macklin Celebrini collection on Upper Deck e-Pack® with a limited edition Game Dated Moments card, available until July 25 at 8:59 AM PST. Additional Celebrini trading card products will be available throughout the 2024-25 NHL season, giving fans plenty to look forward to as Celebrini embarks on his professional career.
