Mile High Card Company has launched its Extra Innings Auction this week, providing a treasure trove for collectors of vintage sports cards and memorabilia. The auction, which opened on Tuesday, May 28, features an impressive array of over 1,100 lots designed to appeal to collectors with varying budgets.

Among the highlights of the auction are several high-profile collectibles, including a 1973 Topps Mike Schmidt rookie card graded PSA 9, a 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie card graded PSA 6 (MC), and a T206 Ty Cobb Portrait with a red background graded SGC 3. These pieces are expected to attract significant attention due to their rarity and the legendary status of the athletes they represent.

The auction isn't limited to just baseball cards. Collectors will also find complete and partial sets, such as a 1956 Topps set that includes numerous graded cards, adding depth to the offerings available.

Key items up for bids include various other treasures like a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth card, early Topps cards featuring Willie Mays and Hank Aaron, and a 2000 Bowman Tom Brady ROY Promotion card graded PSA 6. Additionally, fans of non-sport collectibles will be intrigued by the inclusion of 1999 and 2000 Pokémon Base Set unopened booster boxes, showcasing the auction's diversity.

This auction will run through Thursday, June 6, giving enthusiasts ample opportunity to acquire pieces of sports history. As Mile High Card Company prepares for its next major catalog auction later this summer, it continues to accept consignments, promising more exciting opportunities for collectors around the world.

This event is a must-visit for anyone interested in adding unique and valuable items to their collection, bridging the gap between sports legends and modern-day heroes.
