Bowman Chrome is back for 2025, and Topps isn’t holding back. Since first hitting the hobby in 1997, this release has become one of the most important products of the year, and the latest edition is loaded with prospects, parallels, and a deep checklist that collectors will be chasing well into next season.

Every hobby box guarantees two autographs, while the set itself brings together a mix of rookies, established stars, and fresh international talent.

Set Overview

The base set clocks in at 100 cards, highlighted by rookies like Dylan Crews, Roki Sasaki, and Jacob Wilson, plus MLB headliners including Shohei Ohtani, Elly De La Cruz, and Aaron Judge.

On top of that, a separate 100-card Chrome Prospects checklist adds plenty of “1st Bowman” cards, with early favorites such as Andrew Salas (Marlins) and Japanese two-way standout Shotaro Morii (Athletics).

Parallels and New Looks

Collectors can hunt for the usual rainbow of refractors along with some fresh twists:

  • Pulsar
  • Fuchsia
  • Blue Wave
  • Green Wave
  • Black
In addition, 50 prospects get International Refractors, which return with flag-inspired backgrounds. Signed versions of those cards are also in the mix.
