An iconic piece of sporting memorabilia is up for grabs - the boxing trunks worn by Muhammad Ali in his final career fight are now available through a British auction house.

On December 11, 1981 at the Queen Elizabeth Sports Centre in Nassau an epic boxing match took place that would come to be known as "The Drama In Bahama" between Muhammad Ali and Jamaican Trevor Berbick.

For this fight, Ali was outfitted with unique MacGregor trunks given by his trainer Angelo Dundee to close friend Hartmut Scherzer - these were a one-of-a kind piece of memorabilia for what turned out to be the last time we ever saw The Great One step into ring.

Despite putting up a valiant effort against 27 year old opponent Berbick, unfortunately Ali ultimately lost in ten rounds via unanimous decision marking not only end of their monumental bout but also retirement from professional boxing after 56 wins and 5 losses throughout career inspirationally spanning more than 20 years..

These Iconic Boxing Trunks are now up for grabs at Chiswick Auctions
