Product Overview

2022-23 Upper Deck Credentials Hockey looks to go behind the game and go with the fan experience as its central theme. This comes through with lots of big designs and the return of one of the young brand’s core elements, Debut Ticket Access Rookie Cards and autographs. Hobby boxes don’t guarantee a signature, but more often than not, they should have one. Those that don’t come with an acetate card instead. The base set might have just 200 total cards but it’s a challenging one. The first half is the shell set, consisting of the NHL’s top veterans. Parallels here, which combine to land one per hobby box, include: It’s not the vets why the Credentials base set is so challenging. It’s the rookies, which fall under the Debut Ticket Access banner. All base versions are serial numbered, although come in four tier: Parallels here are the same as veteran base cards minus the Neon Green versions. Debut Ticket Access cards also have Horizontal Variations that flip the cards on their side. These have the same tiers as the standard versions, including both print runs and parallels. The Ticket Access theme in 2022-23 Upper Deck Credentials Hockey carries over to the autographs as well. Landing in a few different versions, virtually all come with on-card signatures. Debut Ticket Access Autographs are where the majority come into play. Depending on the tier, these are numbered to 299, 199 or 99.
