2020-21 Panini Black Basketball cards go dark in the form of a limited release exclusive to Panini’s website. The checklist is kept on the small side, limiting itself to stars and rookies. In fact, all of the product’s autographs come from first-year players.

Hobby boxes have five cards: an autograph, two base cards and a pair of parallels.

2020-21 Panini Black Basketball Checklist Overview

The base set has 95 total cards — 65 veterans and 30 rookies. All come serial numbered to 149. Parallels include Silver (/65), Copper (/49), Gold (/25), Holo Gold (/5) and Platinum (1/1).

Five rookies also have variations. Not only do these have different photos, but they’re in shorter supply with 99 numbered copies.

Autographs take on three main themes. No individual autograph in 2020-21 Panini Black Basketball has more than 49 copies.

Rookie Memorabilia Autographs is where most of the product’s ink comes from. Base versions have 49 copies with Silver (/25), Copper (/15), Gold (/10), Holo Gold (/5) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.

Rookie Jumbo Memorabilia Autographs feature just 19 players, each numbered to 20. Parallels come in five levels numbered to 15 or less.

Rookie Midnight Signatures has 38 cards, all numbered to 25 an under.
