2023-24 Panini Court Kings Basketball picks up the (digital) paint brush for another year of colorful, art-inspired designs and themes. Mirroring major museums, each hobby boxes offers a variety of card styles including one autograph, a memorabilia card and a pair of other inserts.
The base set has a few different sections. Veterans take up the first chunk. The number of first-year players isn’t the biggest of the season. However, those that do make the base cut each get four different cards, each with a different design. These cards also get progressively tougher the further you move down the checklist with Rookies I being the most common and Rookies IV the scarcest.
Keeping with the youth theme, Rookie Exclusives are one of the exclusives found only in hobby boxes.
Among the autograph sets in 2023-24 Court Kings are Brush Strokes, Fresh Paint and Legacy Portrait.
Debut Showcase is one place to find memorabilia. Parallels for these have no more than 25 copies each.
As usual, Court Kings has quite the assortment of other inserts. Aurora, Paint by Number and State of the Art all rank among the tougher short prints.
Self Expression uses a watercolor backdrop reminiscent of Color Blast inserts.
