The die-cuts are back — and so are Kaboom — in 2023-24 Panini Crown Royale Basketball. In addition to having one of the sport’s more distinct base sets, the checklist includes a variety of signature, memorabilia and other insert themes.
Hobby boxes deliver a little bit of everything including an autograph, a swatch card and two total inserts or parallels.
Collectors can trace the origins of Crown Royale back to the 1990s when the brand was introduced by the now defunct Pacific Trading Cards. This particular line was known for its die-cut crown-shapes, something that continues today with the base set.

One of the anchors of the Crown Royale autographs continues to be Silhouettes. Available for rookies, veterans and retired stars are part of the checklists for these cards that combine autographs, layered swatches and die-cut images to help display said swatches. Among the players is Tim Duncan who kicks off an exclusive autograph deal with Panini here.
Kings Court Jersey Auto and Rookie Royal Showcase are other autographed memorabilia cards in the product.
Treasured Autographs and Noblemen are other autograph sets making their debuts.
