2023-24 Panini Flawless Basketball sparkles as one of the top hoops sets of the season. Maintaining its presence as a luxury release, it’s mostly upscale autographs and memorabilia cards. And in the instances where it’s not, cards come with diamonds. Hobby boxes, which double as commemorative briefcases, have 10 total cards — nine autographs or memorabilia cards and one gem card. Base cards have a couple of noticeable things going for them. First, they’re downright scarce with none having more than 20 numbered copies. Like all Flawless base sets, they also have gems embedded in them. In this instance, it’s all about diamonds. Subsets include Flawless Drafts that pair up two players from the same year and new Generational Talent cards that are only the best of the best from their particular era. All autographs in the product are on-card. That means no stickers. They’re also numbered to 25 or fewer. Among the new themes are Flawless Achievements, Flawless Performances, Flawless Shade Signatures and Flawless Dual Inscriptions. Upping the ante are a handful of autographed memorabilia sets like Dual Brand Logo Autographs and Dual Laundry Tag Autographs that have five copies or less.
