Product Overview
2023-24 Panini Prizm Deca Basketball marks the debut of a new line, albeit one that has roots in the past. It’s a tribute of sorts to the original Prizm Basketball set released in 2012-13. This time, though, there’s a more modern mix of color and current players.
The base set carries the same design as 2012-13. Its size also matches the original with 300 cards. Prizms parallels fall approximately one per hobby pack or 10 per box.
In 2012-13, cards had just three levels of parallels. This time, that number is bigger and more colorful. Blue, Orange and Black Gold are among the colors available in hobby.
Signatures carry a similar look as the base set. Signers are a mix of vets, rookies and retired stars. Color-based versions of these are numbered to 49 or less.
Standard inserts are three per box. Downtown Bound, Finalists and Most Valuable Players all make the jump over from the first set.
Brilliance and Decade of Dominance are new additions.
