2023-24 Parkhurst Champions Hockey has a definite retro vibe to it. Sometimes it’s resurrecting old designs while other times it’s making something new that strives to recreate a sense of days gone by. When it comes to players, the checklist goes in all directions with the usual vets, a dose of rookies and some big names from the past. Among the expected contents of every hobby box is either an autograph or memorabilia card. The majority of packs include a standard insert or parallel. Like a lot of Upper Deck’s sets, the base set is divided up into thematic sections and includes some short prints. The shell set takes up the majority of the checklist at 220 cards. Thirty Rookies are 1:7.5 packs each while 30 Legends are 1:15 packs. Parallels include: The main set is also the basis for many of the product’s autographs and memorabilia cards. For base, there are Autographs (1:60 packs), Jersey (1:120 packs, Rookies – 1:340 packs), Patch (/25), Auto Patch (/25, Rookies – /35) and Blue Autographs (/15). Rookie SPs have Autographs (1:180 packs), Jersey (1:240 packs), Auto Patch (/35) and Blue Autographs (/25). Base Legends hits are tough with Autographs landing 1:720 packs and Jerseys 1:1,500 packs. There are also Blue Autographs (/15), Premium Relics (/10) and Auto Premium Memorabilia (/10).
