2023-24 SkyBox E-X 2000 Hockey has its head in the clouds. The throwback-style set from Upper Deck draws much of its inspiration from the early days of E-X — more specifically 1996-97 E-X 2000 Basketball. Similar to recent Metal Universe sets, inserts carry bigs designs like those of the late 1990s. It’s also a product where autographs are on the checklist but they’re not guaranteed. The full base set has 150 cards. This includes 50 rookies that are every other pack. Despite this, overall quantities of all vets and first-year players are roughly the same. Design-wise, Upper Deck is going with the cloudy backdrop the original set is known for. Parallels include: Although not in every box, autographs do combine to land approximately four per case.
