2023-24 Topps Chrome Sapphire Bundesliga offers an abbreviated and more limited spin on the main set. Besides being the exclusive home to the blue pattern (and ensuing parallels), there is some additional content not available in standard Topps Chrome as well.
This is a Topps Chrome Sapphire release that promises an autograph per box. Collectors can also expect a couple of inserts, an Image Variation and three parallels.
The base set has 100 cards, matching the Topps Chrome Bundesliga lineup. These are basically parallels with the same layout and images as well. Sapphire cards are recognizable thanks to their shard backgrounds with base being blue.
Among the three-per-box parallels are Gold Sapphire (/50), Orange Sapphire (/25) Black Sapphire (/10), Red Sapphire (/5) and Papradascha Sapphire (1/1). It’s likely that there could be some more such as Green (/99) and Yellow (/75), although these are not yet confirmed.
Base Autographs use the same design as the main set. Parallels for these are limited to Black Sapphire (/10), Red Sapphire (/5) and Papradascha Sapphire (1/1).
According to the card maker, each 2023-24 Topps Chrome Sapphire Bundesliga hobby box has two Ultrabeam inserts. Ported over from Topps Chrome, these have the added Sapphire pattern to differentiate them.
Sapphire Selections and Infinite are also on the checklist with some of the Sapphire Selections cards getting autographs as well.
