2023 Leaf Eclectic Baseball takes from a variety of the company’s lines and puts them under a single umbrella. Think Panini Chronicles, only for Leaf products.
Everything on the Eclectic checklist is autographed and no individual card has more than 10 copies.
Like any anthology-style release, variety is the hook. With each brand comes its own style of cards and identity. Flash, Valiant, MultiGraphics and Optichrome are some of the lines included in the product.
Chromium stock is a common theme for many of the designs. This provides plenty of opportunity for a wide assortment of parallels, which help keep print runs for specific cards low. Bold designs are another connection for much of the checklist.
With MultiGraphics, it means there are cards that come with more than one signature. This includes dual- and quad-signed cards as well as double-sided Gr8tness that have ink from eight players.
Leaf’s Anime Nation line has rare autographs in Eclectic. There’s also die-cut Boombastic Autographs that fall under the Eclectic banner.
The product also revisits a couple of previously released products, 2023 Leaf Metal Baseball and 2023 Leaf Vivid Baseball, and offers up some updates.
