2023 Leaf Vivid Baseball has no shortage of color — and that’s before you get into the parallels. Covering big designs at every turn, the checklist is largely autographs but not entirely. Five of the seven cards in every hobby box come with signatures.
Low print runs are also a key component to the release with every card coming numbered to 10 or less.
Vivid is another Leaf product that doesn’t stick to just prospects. Recent draft picks and other top players working their way through the minors are certainly part of the checklist. However, collectors will also find some current stars and all-time greats.
Whether it’s Paul Skenes or Sandy Koufax, cards are heavy on design elements. Bursts of color, over-the-top graphics and busy layouts tap into a corner of the hobby reminiscent of the late 1990s. Specific autograph themes include Vivid Dreams, Street Signs and Imagination.
