2023 Topps Garbage Pail Kids x MLB Series 3 combines a couple of hobby icons. Yes, they’re baseball cards featuring major leaguers. That said, all are reimagined as part of the GPK multiverse.
David Gross follows in the footsteps of Keith Shore (Series 1) and Alex Pardee (Series 2) as the set’s featured artist.
The base set has 50 cards. That said, only 25 players are included, mixing current and retired stars. That’s because it’s all part of the Garbage Pail Kids side of things with each card getting A and B name variations.
Every pack comes with one parallel that’s numbered to 199 or fewer copies:
Packs also have an additional insert.
C Name Variations take the base concept and give players a third name.
There are also Wrapper Cards and a pair of David Gross Portraits. The veteran artist also has autographs.
The set is an online exclusive originally available on the Topps website for $54.99 for a three-pack box.
