Product Overview

2023 Upper Deck Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness takes the dark Marvel film and sends it to the trading card realm. More than just a recap, the checklist includes several insert sets. Autographs are also out there, covering many of the film’s lead cast. The base set is fair small with just 75 cards. These get into the movie and retell the mind-bending story that worked to open up a realm of possibilities across the MCU. These are complimented by 25 Ensemble cards that dive deeper into the characters and the actors who play them. Although inserts, these are available in the same quantities as the base set. Parallels for all 100 cards include: Keeping in line with other Marvel Cinematic Universe card sets from Upper Deck over the years, autographs are not guaranteed in every box. In fact, they’re on the tough side. Both of the Multiverse of Madness‘ headline stars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen, have signatures in the product. They’re joined by Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Benedict Wong (Wong), Xochitl Gomez (America Chavez) and Hayley Atwell (Captain Carter), among others. There’s also Rachel McAdams of Mean Girls and The Notebook fame who gets her first certified autograph cards. Signed inserts come in several themes including Strange Sigs (1:240 packs), Ensemble Autographs (1:300 packs) and Book of Vishanti book cards (/25). A small number of dual autographs are also available.
