2024 Bowman Chrome Sapphire Baseball is the streamlined cousin to the main release. It’s also a little more upscale in its approach and reception. Available as an online-exclusive, the main part of the checklist is a Sapphire makeover of the 2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball base set and Prospects. Each has 100 cards. Select rookies and prospects have Image Variations as well that use different photos. As for the cornerstone Chrome Prospect Autographs, they’re here as well. That said, there are not nearly as many players. While 2024 Bowman Chrome has 141 different signers, Sapphire is limited to just 32. Sapphire Selections is the only other set of inserts. They also happen to be exclusive to this release and aren’t in standard Bowman Chrome packs. As with other Sapphire releases, designs stick with the original. What makes them different is the blue theme for the standard versions and cracked backgrounds that run throughout the checklist.
