2024 Donruss NASCAR Racing waves the green flag to a new card season. The flagship-style line brings with it the usual big checklist that incorporates a sizeable base set with lots of inserts — including autographs and memorabilia cards. Even at the hobby pack level, there’s a lot going on as collectors can expect to find a handful of base cards, a parallel, an Optic card and another insert.
Spread across a box, there are three total autographs and memorabilia cards, 24 inserts, 24 Optic cards, and 24 parallels.
The base set delves into NASCAR’s drivers with a design and layout that compliments recent years for the line. Like nearly every set of Donruss sports cards since its inception in the early 1980s, the Rated Rookies subset highlights young up-and-comers.
Besides standard color-based parallels, 2024 Donruss also has Optic cards. These are done on chrome-style stock making for a metallic look that’s shiny and a little more upscale.
Select base cards also have short print Variations that have different photos.
Autographs can be found in a few ways on the 2024 Donruss NASCAR checklist. Base Optic Signatures use the main set’s design as its foundation. Pandora, Gold and Gold Vinyl are among the parallels.
Optic Season Highlights Signatures showcase specific moments like wins and milestones.
Three different memorabilia sets use different types of materials. Burning Rubber Materials use tire pieces. Metal Materials opt for sheet metal. For Suited Up Swatches, it’s a swatch from a racer’s firesuit.
