2024 Leaf Metal Pickleball marks the sport’s second set of mainstream sports cards. While autographs are likely to be the big draw, the checklist also includes a standard chrome-style base set — and lots of parallels.
Hobby boxes have 10 cards, all of which are numbered to 50 or less (individual autograph cards top out at 35 copies).
The main set has 46 cards covering the biggest names in pickleball. They may not be household names, but the sport does have its fans. Over the past few years, it has also been one of the fastest growing. Each card has seven different versions for each background pattern: Prismatic, Mojo, Lava and Pulsar. Super Prismatic Gold and Red Flood one-of-ones are also available, making a full rainbow of 30 cards.
Base Signatures include nearly 50 different signers as well as 30 different parallels.
The 2024 Leaf Metal Pickleball checklist has lots of additional autograph themes including Shake-N-Bake, Big Dink Energy, King of Swing and Queens of the Court.
Paddle Masters and Pickled deliver memorable designs further complimented by die-cut shapes.
Lunararity, Metallic Imaginations and Anime Nation Autographs rank among the product’s toughest cards thanks to few parallels or none at all.
Multi-signature inserts like Dynamic Tandems, Perfect Pairings, Triple Crown Threat, Trifecta and Quad Squad bring together different personalities. Some of these, like Kevin Durant and Drew Brees, are connected to pickleball but have found fame elsewhere.
