2024 Topps Chrome Boxing brings Topps cards back into the ring for the first time since 1951. The new 95-card set will have a much different composition than the famed 1951 Topps Ringside offering, which told the history of the sport through 96 cards, but collectors will still find plenty of history and heritage in the new release. Hobby boxes will contain 12 packs of eight cards and include two autographs. Topps announced the Chrome Boxing checklist will feature “a mix of champions, contenders, rising stars, and legendary names” from the men’s and women’s ranks. Current boxers from Top Rank, Golden Boy Promotions, and Matchroom will be featured. As with any Chrome set, the base cards are expected to be covered by a wide range of Refractor parallels: Among inserts are case hits Ring Generals, Be First and Smash Hits. The case-hit Helix and Hidden Gems inserts from other sports also makes an appearance. According to Topps, there will be several first-time autograph signers in the product, and there are at least four autograph sets.
