2024 Topps Chrome Formula 1 is the de facto flagship racing release of the F1 season. Not only is there lots of color like all things chrome, but there’s a wide assortment of other inserts of varying rarities to add to the chase. In addition to standard hobby boxes, there are also Qualifying Lap boxes. Similar to Hobby Lite boxes in past years, these have longer odds for a lot of elements like autographs but come at a more reasonable price point and a couple of exclusives not available anywhere else. The base set has 200 cards, which is broken down into several subsets. F1 drivers are joined by up-and-comers from F2 and F3. The checklist also has space for race cars, winners and more. All base cards have nearly 30 different parallels. Most of the more rare ones, including Superfractors, are exclusive to hobby packs. Qualifying Lap have four Black and White RayWave Refractors per box with a handful of tougher exclusives also possible. Value boxes can also be found. These have limited parallels, although they are the only place to find Sepia Refractors. Signatures are available in 2024 Topps Chrome Formula 1 but they’re not guaranteed in every box. Hobby boxes offer the best chance but even there you’re looking at every two or three boxes. The majority of ink is available in Chrome Autographs. These have additional Orange Refractors, Black Refractors, Red Refractors and Superfractors. Other autographed inserts include 1954 Topps Signatures, Circuit Masters Signatures and Futuro Autographs.
