2024 Topps Chrome Sapphire Football has many of the same elements as the previously released Chrome set. The base set covers the same ground with virtually the same design and many of the autographs follow suit. But this is a more rarer version of the release that does bring with it some exclusives beyond the parallels. Hobby boxes are small with just eight four-card packs. They still manage to promise one autograph per box. The 300-card base set lines up with 2024 Topps Chrome. The first 200 cards are virtually all retired stars from the past few decades, although a couple of current vets are sprinkled in. Rookies make up the last 100 slots on the checklist, offering a deep dive into the season’s draft class. While the design also matches the standard Chrome release, Sapphire cards are easily distinguishable due to their shard-like background pattern. Base versions have blue borders as well. Parallels include: The same design returns for all of all of the product’s autographs. The checklist for these is split with the vets and legends in one part and rookies in another. The 2024 Topps Chrome Sapphire Football checklist has two exclusive insert sets, both of which are tough. Ten Infinite Sapphire cards combine to land 1:167 packs. Sapphire Selections is even more scarce, falling 1:277 packs. Fifteen players make the cut here.
