Product Overview

2024 Topps Finest Football sees another classic brand return to the gridiron. Arriving ahead of Fanatics’ eventual take over of the NFL license, it may not have league logos and trademarks but the checklist does have a lot of stars from the past, plenty of rookies and a couple of vets. Like all things Topps Finest, bold designs and color are at the forefront in both the base set and in the product’s inserts. Hobby boxes come with a pair of autographs while breaker’s delight boxes deliver three. The base set, which is done on chromium stock, totals 300 cards. Harkening back to late 1990s Finest releases (and current Select sets), it’s split into three sections. Common cards make up the basic shell. Following those 100 cards are Uncommon and Rare cards, which are three and one per hobby box respectively. Parallels are all Refractors and have 18 different levels: All Geometric parallels are exclusive to breaker boxes. Checkerboard Refractors are only in hobby. Finest Autographs, Rookie Finest Autographs, Flashback Autographs and Finest Greats Autographs make up the majority of signatures in 2024 Topps Finest Football. All have the same assortment of parallels: There are also Prodigies Autographs. The checklist here is limited to 10 top rookies including Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams. 2024 Topps Finest Football is also home to Mercury Autographs all focused on C.J. Stroud. These include autographed memorabilia and dual autographs where he’s paired with other superstars including some with connections in other sports. The Mercury brand debuted with a full release dedicated to Victor Wembanyama.
