Product Overview

2024 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball updates the foundation set that came out nearly a year prior. It’s a lot later arriving than usual but other than that, things are largely the same as other recent High Number sets. Basically, rookies rule a lot of the checklist. Although not traditionally a product for collectors chasing big hits, hobby boxes still promise either an autograph or memorabilia card. With just 225 cards, the base set isn’t exactly a big one. In true update fashion, much of it is dedicated to rookies as well as veterans who suited up for new teams. Numbering continues on from where the previous 2024 Topps Heritage Baseball checklist left off. Short prints are also in the mix, accounting for the final 25 cards (#701-725). Parallels include: The design plays off of 1975 Topps Baseball. The year actually plays into several parts of the product as a whole. Variations continue with a handful of themes like Missing Signature that have the facsimile autograph on the front removed, Black and White Image, and standard Image Variations with different photos. Chrome plays a major role in 2024 High Number, featuring cards from both series. Combining to land five per hobby box and one per value box, the checklist for these totals 625 cards. Base Chrome cards are numbered to 699 with additional parallels available in Black Border (/75), Gold Border (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
