2024 Topps Heritage Mini Baseball may seem curious to newer collectors. But it sticks with Heritage’s history of looking at the details. So, like 1975 Topps Baseball, Heritage’s inspiration for the year, the set has been shrunken down and offered as a separate.
The base set matches up with the main 2024 Topps Heritage Baseball release, consisting of 500 total cards. Within that are several subsets for things like League Leaders, a historical (albeit abbreviated) history of MVPs and World Series highlights.
A significant portion of cards in the base set are short prints. Basically, it’s the first 100 cards save for #82. But card #407 is an SP bringing the total up to the century mark.
The 2024 Topps Heritage Mini Baseball checklist has variations as well, but not nearly as many as its parent set. Here, it’s limited to Throwback Uniform, Image and Color Swap Variations.
Not only are the cards shrunken down for the Real One Mini Autographs, but the checklist is as well. Just 33 signers are in the product including Elly De La Cruz, Jim Palmer and George Brett, whose card is done like his Rookie Card.
1975 Fall Classic is a new insert set that isn’t in the standard Heritage release. These 10 cards look back at the World Series between Cincinnati and Boston.
