Tis the season with 2024 Topps Holiday Baseball cards. The spinoff of the flagship set puts a winter twist on things. Seeing as how the holidays are all about tradition, the configuration is similar to how it has been for several years. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some new traditions as well. Most notably here is the addition of a second box configuration that doubles as an ornament-shaped tin. There’s also an advent calendar that while not a traditional box, still boast a lot of Holiday packs and more.

Mega boxes still exist and the still promise as an autograph or memorabilia card.

At a glance, base cards look a lot like those from 2024 Topps Baseball. At least the layout is. Teh holiday twist comes with some festive additions that make them something new. It’s also a condensed checklist compared to flagship meaning a higher concentration of top stars and rookies.

As far as parallels go, Glitter versions return landing every other mega box pack. Tins have three Holiday Tree and one Blue Holiday Tree parallels.

In recent years, Topps Holiday has carved out its identity further with a massive slate of Image Variations. They’re back once again, combining to land three per mega box and one per tin. These take the Christmas and winter themes up another notch, adding elements that are fun and often quirky. Things like snowmen, Santa belts and light-string necklaces have all been part of past sets. It is a little different this year, though. Rather than having three tiers of rarity, all variations carry the same odds.

In addition to the usual mix of autographs and memorabilia cards, there are Holiday Hat Relics — Santa hats worn by players. Signed versions are also available.

Mega boxes continue to include a Die-Cut Ornament as a box topper. These include players and can be hung from Christmas trees (or rearview mirrors).

2024 Topps Holiday Baseball Advent Calendars count down the days to Christmas with either a pack or other cards per day. The exact breakdown is 20 Holiday packs, a pack of three exclusive Evergreen inserts, a pair of one-card buyback packs with an original Topps cards with an added stamp, and one original pack of Topps baseball cards.
