Product Overview

2024 Topps Update Series Baseball cards wrap up the flagship season. While the numbering might be different from 2024 Topps Series 1 and Series 2, this is essentially Series 3 adding lots of rookies and veterans who switched teams. Hobby boxes have either an autograph or memorabilia card. Ten-pack HTA jumbo boxes deliver one autograph plus two relics. The 350-card base set lays the foundation for the 2024 Topps Update Series Baseball checklist. Rookies are the main attraction with standouts like Paul Skenes and Jackson Holliday, among others. Among the subsets are Rookie Debut, which highlight players’ first games, and Season Highlights from early in the season. All cards have more than 30 different parallels. Most keep in line with the previous 2024 Topps Baseball releases. Some of these are exclusive to certain configurations and box types. These include some new Holiday versions that are only found in blaster-style value boxes. Patterns on these center around Halloween with things like pumpkins and bats. Series 1 went with spring themes while Series 2 opted for summer celebrations. All 350 cards also have Golden Mirror Image Variations that use a different photo on the front. These are tough, landing 1:20 hobby boxes and every tenth jumbo box. The 2024 Topps Update Series Baseball checklist dedicates a significant amount of its autographs and memorabilia cards to the Mid Summer Classic. All-Star Stitches has not only single-, dual- and triple-swatch versions, but autographs as well. Scarce All-Star Jumbo Patch cards are also available, some with signatures as well. Baseball Stars Autographs return as a standalone signature set. The majority of the more than 50 players are rookies including Jackson Chourio and Shota Imanaga. Dual and triple autographs are also on the checklist for these as well. Major League Materials Relics take an all-encompassing approach to memorabilia. Some also get signature upgrades.
