2024 Upper Deck Portfolio Golf helps remedy the fact that the card maker has a lot more brands in its arsenal than sets for the sport. Similar to Panini Chronicles, the checklist combines key elements from several lines under one umbrella release. Hobby boxes promise either an autograph or memorabilia card as well as four chrome inserts and three serial-numbered cards. More than 10 different brands are on the 2024 Upper Deck Portfolio Golf checklist: Each of these maintains a similar style and construction that they’re known for with their standalone releases in others sports. Allure Rookies and Allure Veterans are both 1:6 packs. This is where the chromium comes in. Rookie parallels are available in Black Rainbow (1:15 packs) and Green Rainbow (1:60 packs). Vets have Black Rainbow (1:15 packs), Green Rainbow (1:60 packs), Red Rainbow (/149) and Gold Rainbow (/10). Select cards also have Red Rainbow Autographs (/199 or less) and Gold Rainbow Autographs (/10). Like the annual hockey release, Artifacts cards take a tiered approach. Veterans and Legends are 1:6 packs while Horizontal versions are 1:16. Rookies have 1,299 copies each and 699 for their Horizontal counterparts. Memorabilia and autographed memorabilia cards are available for these as well. Black Diamond brings its usual bling and premium leanings. Base inserts are numbered to 499 and have Red Spectrum (/99) and Green Spectrum (/10) parallels. There are also Rookie Gems (/699) that also have similarly colored Red Spectrum (/299) and Green Spectrum (/25) versions. Some of these also have autographs. Four additional Black Diamond-themed sets are also on the Portfolio checklist: Band of Color, Diamond Relic Rookies, Diamond Relic Rookies 2015 Flashbacks and Gemography. One-of-one Pure Black parallels are available for all of these.
