Panini will again turn down the lights and settle in for dark themes with 2025 Panini Black Football, the seventh straight edition of the popular set. Hobby boxes contain five cards, and three of them are hits: one Rookie Patch Autograph, one additional autograph, and one additional memorabilia card. Collectors will also find one card from the base set and a parallel in every box. The Panini Black base set is always a challenging build, and this year’s edition will be no exception. Again clocking in at 242 cards, the checklist will feature a variety of veterans, a run of rookies, and a slate of RPAs, but with only one base card per box, completing the non-RPA segment of the checklist will be a chore for collectors.
